7.1 Introduction to Razorpay Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to your use of the website of Razorpay hosted at razorpay.com, the Services (as defined under the Razorpay "Terms of Use") and Razorpay applications on mobile platforms (Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone, iOS etc.) (collectively "RAZORPAY" or "WEBSITE"), but does not apply to any third party websites that may be linked to them, or any relationships you may have with the businesses listed on Razorpay.

The terms "we", "our" and "us" refer to Razorpay and the terms "you", "your" and "User" refer to you, as a user of Razorpay. The term "Personal Information" means information that you provide to us which personally identifies you to be contacted or identified, such as your name, phone number, email address, and any other data that is tied to such information. 7.2 Information Collected & Purpose of Use

Razorpay collects, receives, and stores Personal Information. If you provide third-party account credentials ("Third Party Account Information") to Razorpay, authorized content and information in those accounts may be transmitted to your account with Razorpay under this policy.

Personal Information collected is used only to enable service usage, promote safe service, calibrate consumer interest, inform about online offers and updates, troubleshoot problems, customize user experience, detect and protect against error, fraud, and criminal activity, collect money, and enforce terms and conditions.

7.3 Account Information of Merchants

When creating an account on Razorpay, Personal Information recorded includes name, email address, and mobile number. Sensitive Personal Data or Information (such as financial information including credit/debit card details, bank account details, and Know Your Customer ("KYC") documents as per RBI regulations) may be saved in the User account. Email address is used for updates, news, and notifications (with unsubscribe options available). Mobile numbers are used for transaction and SMS alerts.

Erasure Rights: The User has an option to erase information provided. Upon an erasure request, Razorpay shall delete all stored information of the User from its servers.

7.4 Customer Information

Razorpay stores customer information such as address, mobile number, Third Party Wallet details, Card Details, and email address making payments through Razorpay checkouts. However, only when customer chooses to share the information on the businesses powered with Razorpay applications, Razorpay shares the information to respective businesses. Razorpay is not liable in any way for any misuse of this information by the business or people related to the businesses to whom the information is shared by the customer.

7.5 Activity & Intellectual Property

Razorpay records information relating to your use of Razorpay, such as searches undertaken, pages viewed, browser type, IP address, location, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp information to administer Razorpay, provide security, and perform statistical analyses of User behavior in the aggregate. All intellectual property associated with the Razorpay Website, logos, product marks, and content remain exclusively owned by Razorpay.

7.6 Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Session and persistent cookies are used to uniquely identify browsers and improve service quality.
