2. Payments & Razorpay Terms and Conditions

All payments made through the Thayappura booking platform are processed securely via Razorpay Software Private Limited and its affiliates. By initiating a payment transaction on our website or mobile platforms, you agree to Thayappura's payment terms as well as the Razorpay General Terms and Conditions (Part A) detailed below:

2.1 Electronic Record Disclosure

This document/agreement/understanding is a computer-generated electronic record published in terms of Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (amended from time to time) read with Information Technology Act, 2000 (amended from time to time) and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

2.2 Agreement & Scope of Services

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between You and Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Razorpay" or "us", or "we" or "our"). The Terms, constituted of Part A: General Terms and Conditions and Part B: Specific Terms and Conditions, govern Your access to and use of Razorpay services, including payments, technology, software, analytics or any other services, tools or products offered or made available by Razorpay and/or its Affiliates, and/or their Facility Providers ("Services").

The Services may be offered or made available to You via our website, mobile applications, software, APIs, social media, or other access channels ("Platform"). "You", "Yours", "Yourself" or "Merchant" refers to customers, who may be a non-registered individual or corporate body, who register for, use, or access the Platform or Services. The Services provided by Razorpay through the Platform are available and are appropriate only for use in India.

2.3 Acceptance & Modifications

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing the Platform or using the Services. By accessing the Platform or using the Services, You agree to be bound by these Terms, including the Privacy Policy and any other policy applicable to the Services received via the Platform. If You do not agree to these Terms or do not wish to be bound by these Terms, You must immediately terminate the use of the Services. Razorpay reserves the right to amend or otherwise modify the Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the website. The updated Terms shall take effect immediately upon posting. It is Your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates/amendments.

2.4 Supplemental Terms & Data Consent

Razorpay may require You to agree to additional terms in connection with specific Services, provided either by Razorpay or its Affiliates. You give your consent for Razorpay to store and use data/information provided during sign-up/registration, and to pre-fill forms for registration or onboarding for specific Services. Where You intend to avail online as well as offline payment aggregation services, online Services are provided by Razorpay Software Private Limited and offline Services are provided by Ezetap Mobile Solutions Private Limited (Razorpay POS), an Affiliate of Razorpay.

Thayappura Booking & Payment Rules:

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Thayappura does not store your credit/debit card or bank details.
Room rates displayed are per night and inclusive of all applicable charges unless stated otherwise.
Full payment or required advance payment is mandatory at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will honor the price at the time of booking.
In the event of a payment failure, no booking will be confirmed. If your account is debited but the booking is not confirmed, the amount will be refunded automatically within 5–7 business days.
All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR).

3. Refunds & Cancellations

Our cancellation and refund policy is strictly time-based. Refund percentages are calculated based on the time remaining before the standard check-in time (12:00 PM):

After Check-in Time: No refund will be issued.
0–8 Hours before Check-in: 100% cancellation charge on the booking amount.
8–12 Hours before Check-in: 50% cancellation charge on the booking amount.
12–24 Hours before Check-in: 15% cancellation charge on the booking amount.
More than 24 Hours before Check-in: 10% cancellation charge on the booking amount.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

Thayappura and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the website or our services.
We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to personal belongings during your stay. Guests are advised to use the available safety lockers and take reasonable care of their valuables.
Thayappura is not liable for any disruption of services caused by natural disasters, power outages, governmental actions, or other force majeure events.
We do not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of the website or the absence of errors, viruses, or other harmful components.
Any reliance you place on information provided on this website is at your own risk.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Thayappura brand and website are protected:

The name "Thayappura", its logo, website design, content, photographs, and all associated branding materials are the exclusive property of Thayappura.

Present a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, etc.) during check-in.
Adhere to all house rules and policies of the property during your stay, including maintaining quiet hours, respecting other guests, and following safety guidelines.
Be liable for any damage caused to hotel property by you or any member of your party.
Not engage in any illegal, disruptive, or harmful activities on the premises.
Not share your account credentials or booking confirmation details with unauthorized individuals.
Report any issues, damages, or concerns to the management immediately.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously:

Personal information collected during booking (name, email, phone number) is used solely for reservation management, communication, and improving our services.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as required for payment processing (Razorpay) and communication (email/SMS services).
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption via Google Firebase.
You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us at contact@thayappura.com.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kannur, Kerala, India.

9. Changes to Terms

Thayappura reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
